Nishabd....Aftermath..

Bleak as it may be....If you believe that you belong to that ever shrinking group of elite people
who do "what they want to do .....", the group where people still want to be themselves......
then you would like this movie. Nishabd..speechless, yes this movie does leave us in a state not so different than what the title hints.

Vijay(Big B ) a well settled family man meets with Jia(Jiah Khan,18 yr gal), a friend of his daughter. Jia comes to her friends place where she meets Big B. As it might be evident, slowly these two crazy creatures start getting close. Apparently they end up expressing thr love for each other. Jia being a daughter-like figure for Big B's age, the problem creeps in and the movie takes a sad turn. The end was a bit shocking but then after all it had to qualify for "RGV " film.

Overall I thought it was a thought provoking and quite an interesting story ...something which might be prevalent in our society since the invention wheel....just that it has never been tracked by these two naked eyes..or else deliberately left unseen.

Some food for thought over here..
I do not wish to comment on this particular scenario...this particular scene but then some dialogues in the movie were worth scratching your head. Few dialogues in the movie like "being oneself", "respecting ourselves", "doing what you believe in " and many more

Cliches they might sound, yet, I always get inspired and feel good when I get to hear them.

Think of it, How many people in this world today do things just because they wanted to !!!
I am afraid, Not Many......

How many people stop/refrain from doing a thing...just because they are not sure if society would accept that!!!

How many people let thr feelings/thoughts die an unnatural death, just because they wish to fit in the conventional Groove!!!

How many people shy away from small things/khushi in life ..just believing that they are too old for that....

How many times did you feel that you should just walk down the street to the park and sit on that see-saw ...to go out and drench in that first rain....go out and freak out for a while !!!

No prizes to guess...that ..
I bet, a Zillion times...

I just fail to understand why so ??? Be it..

Here I distinctly remember these starting lines of one of my fav song(lyrics point of view)
"Feel the rain on your skin
No one else can feel it for you
Only you can let it in
No one else, no one else
Can speak the words on your lips
Drench yourself in words unspoken
Live your life with arms wide open
Today is where your book begins
The rest is still unwritten......"

Here for the entire thing. .."http://www.azlyrics.com/lyrics/natashabedingfield/unwritten.html"

On a very thoughtful note...
Cheers...
