Generally Speaking....

Yeah to all my friend cum Ny visitors, now I can surely guide ur way around a bit. Till date it was just for the night life and glamour part of NY, that I was exposed. I surely could take you to my current favourite place in NY...its Hard Rock Cafe at Times Square. IT has got its own charm and multitude of facets to entice me evey single time. First of all the ambience is nice, plays fundu songs. The Dim light, Those glittering diamond'ish lights..and most of the memories that I leave behind every damn single visit..

More often than not I will be sitting in the lounge wid few friends and having one hell of masti time..Chitchatting( hehe BAKAR )..playing games.. ( yeah I will tell ya all about ydays latenight game that I conduted)...then once I danced with the waitress over thr ...nd believe me if yu can, she was total HOT ( and that is sheer euphemism nd m being real nice nd using very sweet/plain language when I m referring her as HOT hehehhe ) then meeting wid unexpected-old-lost friends...drinking hell lot of different varieties of shots.. aah nd if yu are one of those dudes/ettes who are immediately drenching yur throats wid the vicarious Tequila shot, ....then dude .....meet me, I will tell yu that its not the end of world when yu once taste Tequila.....aarghhhh..cme n meet me at Hard Rock Caffe nd stop wathcing Dil to Pagal hai every weeken.

Now this name has got some story behind it toooo as in HRC - Hard Rock Caffe. The truth is I am not one of those guys who keeps track of his credit card statements..mai bas ja k online bhar deta hu paisse( aacha laga paisse bol k ) neways ...its not just because m a bit lazy when it comes to maintaining accounts..but I will rather say that "jis din se mai aise account check karna start kar dunga..us din se mai her baar kharch karne se pehle sochunga k boss yeh thoda jyada bill ho jayega !!!!kyun kaise kab kaha kay jaroorat hai ..yeh sab sawal aana start honge. Aur aai shappat ( marathi:maa kasam ) yeh kaam apni hone wali, "to-be" ka hai, us k liye hi rakh denge !!!! So jo bhi ho .. basically aise hi ek din jab maine galti se ek baar mera statement dekha to us me mujhe kuch consistently 3 figured credit card entreis dikhi....aur mummy ne kaha hai, " dekh beta..dollars me 3 figure wali entry sehat k liye hanikarak saabit ho sakti hai . " Acchanka hi dimag me kai saare ghantiyan bajne lagi ....aur wohi hua jis ka mujhe sab se jyada daar tha. I was made to dig more into this statement which was blatantly flashing these recurring lines of HRC...and since then I just call it HRC coz it reminds me of dis day whn I was totally dumbstruck for a while !!!

So anyways..now that I go up and look at the starting line of this blog, it reminds me that I was goona write about my new_found yet dramatically_improving GUIDE iiing talent hehehe...but I think I will leave it for da coming dayz...

For now...Its already the dawn of new week .....Have a good week ahead people.

A lot can happen over a simple Jog.

Today I came home at about 6 30 and was in a good mood. Wanted to do something healthy and so decided to go for a jog( had to check dictionary.reference.com to see if its jog or jogg !!! ..bhagwan jane kya hoga mera..) at the riverside. First of all it was awesome weather outside and then it might help me to get away with a thing called hehe ..."TUMMY" . I called a friend of mine and we were to meet at the riverwalk.

About 7 30, m there ..strolling across the scenic walk. I need to take pics of this area and send them back home.....coz they really need to know that I am happy here :) ..neways so here comes my friend. We jog/.strolll/..walk...discusing about lotsa things.. It started with job..project manager ...Payscales.. calculating bonus (I got to admit ...we all are nothing but greedy bums). So slowly from the casual topics we drifted to more intense or for that matter non-casual topics. I told him about how it has been with me till date..small ups and downs...big decisions...incidents that were interesting yet obscure in its own ways....and many many things. nd same with my friend too..I got to know so many things in general.....Actually not mere knowing things..I learnt something today. To be precise I learnt something good from this guy.

So this guy has been donating money in India. Not the usual donations that we make at mandir but to organisations like CRY. He made a decision long ago to donate money to such an organisation that helps to educate villagers o orphans. He was telling me about the feeling that he derives through all this..DEVINE....So there is this one little kid in some gaav in India who he has been helping all thru..Some day the school teacher told the kid that "HE" is the guy who sponsored all the education/living and gave the kid my frnds contact. On New yrs eve this kid made a small greeting card cum drawing for this frnd (F). When F got this greeting card he just couldn't believe his eyes.....

F says : "It would be sheer insult to that feeling if I refer it as "overjoyed" .............because it was lot more than that.... actually I have become selfish and just keep on donating every month, just to get one more card every year ..." ....

I think hes rite. When I go back to India even I am goona try and become a bit selfish too ....Thanks dude . .....I am so in........

To those who are reading this...I guess even yu can drink one coffee LESS everyday :) . A dollar a day can probably be big amount at the end of year for some lone child out thr...

What the HECK !!!!

Undoubtedly this has to be one of those discussions which rather fall on the SERIOUS side . This discussion which started with a cursory exchange of thoughts but slowly degenerated into a total chaos. By the end I was totally flustered and would have strangled him down to earth ....

I am sure anyone else would have done the same thing..
So it goes like this....my frnd was telilng me about how his gf ... not being good to him since a month perhaps more on than a month. He told about how he was trying to make it up to her in his own different ways. After listening to what all he said I was rather sure that he was givin his best shot and thot that the gal was being a bit unreasonable with him..Finally I had to ask him as to ....

"dude kya issue kya hai uska...kyun itna sorry bolne ko laga rahi tujhe ??? aisa kya kar diya tha tune ???"

N that was precisely the last statement whr I supported him ....What came later on just blew me off....so the thing is this guy probably belongs to the 1800's at least his school of thought does..
I'll let yu guys decide ...chk out what he had in store for his gf..all the way thru :

* Its yur Bday. Wow Happy birthday.....but y do yu want to celebrate it with frnds after 7 PM !!! Be at home njoy at home...y party outside..( ME thinking: Kaunse jamane me reh raha dost?? )

*Y on earth do yu need frnds in life..I will be thr for yu.always.....rite now I am thr for yu ..yu are thr for me....that's all...no need to keep up so much with frnds...( ME again..yeh shaadi k pehle ka haal hai ..shaadi k baad bhagwan jane !!! )

*dekh thr is nothing like frnds..if yur frnds talk to yu nicely..they probably have something going on in thr mind, so stay away from such people...( Me Again: bhai mere chup ho ja...)

*if yur senior is trying to help yu in office...thn just get rid of him asap...hes trying to hit on you big time...( Me again: how in heavens sake did that gal listen to this load of crap !!!!! )

At the end I was like : WTF dude :X ........Thank god us ladki ko thoda dimag aaya and she is trying to get rid of this psycho !!!!


MAN...I cant blve its 2007 nd such people still exist...

Bloomberg n Sports...

Seems like its goona be some good time here at Bloomberg. And in noways m talking from career point of view. I guess that front of life has been taken care of for at least one year as of now.

Yeah m referring to sports/adventure. Recently I heard about sports and all the games that Bloomebrg takes care of. You are bound to get crazy when yu get to know this..
Olrite so apparently theres not a single adventure item that da company dosent support..not to mention the usual soccer/tennis/chess et al...

I delved deep into this and thought of pursuing some sport over here. nd bang I was into Volleyball the same evening. It is kinda amazing to note that supposedly Manhattan organises many tournaments/league matches for many games, Volleyball being one of them. So finally m registered with two teams to start with....Amazingly they dont have any issues if a guy participates in multiple teams..good for me :) will get to play more..

Luckily we won the first league match and hehe frankly it was more due to thr sad display of objectionably uncalled smashing.

All this sounds really exciting to me. My school introduced me to this sport and m kinda thankful to Charmode Sir ..( lately I heard thrs' t like a " hate_chormode_community" with a couple dozen people in it !!! nd seriously I wonder y !!!).

Be it.... m looking forward for the coming contest dis Wednesday.

nd now that m writing about this song ...I remember that day when I had got my first, nice n small speaker system while working in TCS. It was worth some odd couple of hundred bucks nd I was so happy for it..Played on that system( I cald it "system" tho it was like a two speaker set hehe) so I played like hundred songs on it daily after coming from office nd tht really made me feel good about the whole thing. ..after all it was my first so called, self earned investment for myself !!!! nd now m listening to the same song on a full blown Home Theater ....time to rejoice again :)

Neways...we did the whole thing again for the actual bday guy.....
IT was indeed a good surprise party ....awesome one infact..

nd m toooo tired to quote all that we did but yeah in the end..it just feels like one happy go lulcky fmily in here ....yeah blve me on that...it does..

and I think its tooo late for the day to write anything...I'll betr postpone this to some othr day ..

Getin High on Sunday morning..!!!

Yo, Its Sunday Morning folks....
Time to clean up all the mess in my room :) time for laundry :) and ofcrse Maggie.

Neways I made this Thandaai today and it just feels awesome to start da day wid this drink...I just love it..For those who don knw what on earth this "thandaai" means then guys let me take yu back to holi time....I bet yu have heard "Bhang" yeah that flavoured milk with lotsa "bhang" in it.. in crude terms: Indian DRUGS...

Well, One that I have made is devoid of that BHANG thing but I still love it.
If neone is interested then go da nearest Indian store and ask for "GURUJI Thandaai" and thats all yu need and yeah one glass of milk ofcrse.

So, thats my breakfast ....glass full of Thandaai...nd wafers...I love those wafers man.....pineapple flavrd( office se dhaap k laaya tha :D ) nd wats playin rite now ..drives me crazy ..."Bhige hooth tere" , seems like sme1s gettin high :D

Weeken plans!!!

It 530 pm..m at office when my friend comes to my desk and we try to figure out what has to be done tonite :) , but in vain. I call one of my frnd and try for a movie but she was still working in office so that idea dropped toooo...Finally we 3 guys just decide to go and have some food and drinks at a nearby restrnt and in 5 min we were outa office :D

Weekens here are really really noisy .... More than nything else they are indeed unpredicatble. No one has the slightest clue that whats gooona be on the agenda but everyone is xctd...and looks fwd for the same. Neways comin back to our friday nite plan....it had to be special ..reason...actually quite a few ...
firstly we were done with the training here at Bloomberg...Blve me it was one hell of a time..strenuous but yeah all said and done we had a good time :)
Not just that ..its 31th March.....and thats Payday :)

Party begins....we are just 3 of us ...yet we are bang ..on target..masti time .
I get a call ..this frnd of mine has already trvld like half way for his place..talks to me ..wants to join us so just stops on his way back home..and comes back all the way back again !!!! nd yu probably know its not fun to travel here at NY :D

So this guy reahes the restrnt after about 45 mins of travel....yu c effort bein put for joining the party !!!! Story repeats for few more of the office dudes....and by the end of the nite..we were 11.
hehe it all started with 3 and befr we knew we were made to shift tables again and again to accommodate more n more pple :)

Its about 1 and time to close the restrnt...most of them were already feeling high ..!!!! thr were few guys who just had thr first round (ever) of drinks and as a result they were having some good time out thr :). We get out of the restrnt and suddenly a guys start singin welll lets refer that action as shouting/cryin out loud/or whtever fits for pathetic singing .....nd that was enugh to stir up the whole crowd....

Now a bunch of crazy guys were singing all hindi ...songs in the worst possible way...It went on for about and hour...ar may be more than that and everyone was flauntin thr full blown singing talent hehe

It was fun..big time fun.


Thats how every weeken turns out ....unpredictable yet xctin in its own subtle way !!!!

PS: Something I really liked yday was those 2-3 guys who made an effort to come down ...the fact is these guys have been here at NY for about 2 months now n all they wanted was to freak out on one of the weeken....they had been waiting for this moment for quite some time now and yday I saw that "YES I DID IT" kinda expression .....
